It could be. But I've worked it out on Burnley winning 4 of their remaining games including against us. If we beat them then it's potentially 31 points to stay up. As I said though it's barring any shock results etc.

Watfords remaining fixtures are more difficult and they have less of them but anything can happen. I still think 34 points - 36 absolute maximum will be enough to stay up this season if results go as expected.

For us I only see about 6 more points personally unless we beat Burnley and Watford. Two massive games.

I think we need about 35 points

We need to expect an unexpected result or two in the run in because they usually happen with teams fighting for their lives.

I actually think Watford have enough about them under Hodgson to make a charge. They’ve looked good but lost the last 2 times I’ve seen them. They’d of had us beat on either occasion.

I'm not so confident myself. I reckon we're right in it now with Leeds getting a draw today and Brentford winning.

It's between us, Watford and Burnley imo. Both of which we've to play away and at the very least we need to hold them to a draw. Losing both will put us in the crap.

Barring any unexpected results, I reckon Watford get another 6 pts and finish on 28 pts. Not a massive worry but Burnley could easily get another 12 points based on some of their remaining fixtures which puts them on 33 pts. I've worked that out as a worst case scenario where both teams beat us.

So we need 34 points, another 3 wins, and if we do lose to Watford and Burnley that leaves Leicester H, Palace and Brentford as the only "winnable" games I see. The rest are write offs barring some miracle that we hammer a better side or two.

Beat the two below us and we won't even need to worry imo but that's easier said that done.

If we can play on the front foot (which we need to as our defence is rubbish) VDB is a good addition, we have to try and not be put under much pressure at the back as our defence just can’t handle it for long.

That's got to be one of the main reasons we can't win games. This two man midfield Frank and his disgusting predecessor insist on. I know now we are struggling for numbers there but the inability to find a mobile midfielder in January is unforgiveable.
I wouldn't even be mad to see Mason go there. Would get him further up the pitch and away from our goal for a start.
I'm guessing we will have 2 there tomorrow and unless West Ham decide to sack Moyes and appoint a managerial genius like John Barnes or Nick Barmby they will swamp the middle of the park
Right tomorrow off peeps.

It may have come across wrong didn’t mean it like that or you didn’t read it what I wrote correctly , I just think some are worrying about Leeds and Brentford getting points and that doesn't matter at all to us, it the 3 below us that matter. Why are people even mentioning the likes of Leeds and Brentford?
