I predict we'll be officially down after losing away at Watford. Anybody else?

If Watford or Burnley put together any sort of run then we are done. Our only hope is that they keep being absolutely crap and we can somehow grind out a couple of wins.

We're all thinking maybe we could somehow get 3 points on Saturday but it's more likely United turn us over. They're crap right now but they're attack against our defence is a complete mismatch.

we’re in the bottom 3 come saturday night

they’res no coming back from it now

I reckon it’ll be free-fall to League One over the next season or two, take a few years to stabilise then get back in to the Championship.

Then become firmly established as a decent Championship outfit who flirts with the play-offs most years.

That’s Everton’s future - literally a different league to what we’re used to. The whole perception of the club will change as people become accustomed to Everton being a half decent Champo side.

Maybe at some point in the future they’ll return to the top flight, maybe not.

I’d keep Gordon and that’s about it now.

Mykolenko might be decent in the championship, same Doucoure, Gray and Godfrey.

Branthwaite and Patterson too.

Problem is, no clubs are going to be lining up for the rest of these jesters.

If we go down we need to suck it up and stop acting like we are still a massive club who deserve to be at the top of English football - its that arrogance thats seen us chase big names hoping to keep up with the Jones' instead of building a team for the future.

Gordon
Branthwaite
Patterson
Mykolenko
Doucoure
Gray

6 players who'll be in the starting 11 next season - add some young hungry players with fight in them and rebuild for the future like Villa, West Ham, Leicester etc did.

We lose about £40 million in TV deal - flogging Pickford would make most of that up. Get £50 million for Dom, a few million here and there for Allan/Mina and millions of wages off the books from those out of contract and start being sensible with recruitment.

Leg Kenwright and DBB and bring in proper businessmen and let the DOF do his job.

If we go down its not the end, pull your kecks up Everton/Evertonians alike and start looking to the future.

Mistakes are killing us so Route one at goodison and away from home. These players cannot play ball. Doucoure looks scared. Throw rondon and richarldson up top. Go 442 and go hoof ball. We currently just cannot play through midfield . I would have said go with ferguson till summer when benitez got sacked for the above reasons and tactic.
I would still chance it. Lampard doesnt look capable and his players look scared of shadows.

and get who? not one manager in world
football can save us

The writing has been on the wall since October.

Unfortunately with those defenders we have - we don’t have a prayer. Can’t quite believe we let Burnley put three past us.
