Let’s not forget this classic from @ForeverBlue92

Such insight.

i stopped following when we (again) didn't appoint Dunc.

Not Even Arsed. In fact I think we need relegation, gives us - the club and the fans - a chance to reset. Been poison since the dodgy mosh got involved.
Relegation will kill us. We absolutely do need a reset but relegation kills this club.

Simply for the fact that all our terrible high wage players can't even be sold. Nobody wants them.

So all these high wage players will cripple us whilst failing to turn up still.

We won't stay up because we are everton. Out chance is that other teams are poor as well.
Right now it does not look good . But the teams below us are terrible as well
You make it sound like Everton get relegated every year, it’s more likely we will stay up as we are Everton as the past shows that. Time will tell, there had got to be a game soon when everything clicks surely.

Can we beat United and Leicester? Yes, but in all likelihood we will get stuffed by both teams. We had a perfect chance to put some daylight between us and blew it with 2 soft goal. Only win I can see us getting is Brentford which clearly won't be enough. We are effectively down, you can delude yourself we are not but reality will hit sooner rather than later

That half sentence alone.

Why do you think we are where we are?

When we go down , we aren't recruiting right in the summer. We couldn't recruit right 3 months ago and if we can't sign a competent premier league squad now, what chance have we actually got signing a competitive championship team?

People seem to forget that when we go down , we are left with our worst players in this squad , all our best players will leave. That isn't a good foundation to build on, that's why we would be relegated in the first place.

New DOF in the club who we have to put our trust in to sort the squad out.

Lets get it right if we dont go down this season then Moshiri is still owner, Kenwright is still chairman, Lampard is still manager and these players are still here so its likely another relegation battle next season.

There is no silver bullet some of our fans are hoping for - be no Europe or midtable next season if we do manage to stay up.

The Fans need to wake up and fast and stop the self pity.

Does anyone know why the 27 year club went into hiding? So strange how they just gave up when Lampard was appointed. We need action.

What was the point of them continuing with their campaign? The was about 150 of them and was probably getting slated by majority of the fan base.

Is it out of the realms of possibility
Mate, “ForeverBlue” is an absolute WUM. Probably RS. I appreciate that I’m a relative newbie here and never post but I’m a lurker and just look back at the guy’s posting history. Every post is a wind-up. I’m amazed that he’s still allowed on here.

My main concern is I just hope we don't end up bust when going down. So maybe one day we can return to the premier league.

We will go down, you can't continue to have spells in games of applying real pressure but not scoring. The tank is empty, it's tragic, heartbreaking, but also reality.

It does make you question whether it's all worth it, being this attached to a football club.

I've done nothing but think about Everton for months because of this mess.

Chatting wham here. They said themselves the club in its current state doesn't need fan protests etc and they have put all of that on the back burner until we're safe from the drop and manage to stay up. What do you reckon that protests now will help us stay up or something? lol

I think it would be beneficial for Frank a highly illustrious pro to explain to the players that kicking a ball like 2 or 3 feet from a defender who is directly in front of you will most likely result in that ball being blocked. Because those dimwits must of smashed countless balls into defenders not just this game but on the regular. I know it's a part of football but it shouldn't be on the frequency we experience.
