Like you said, win tomorrow and we go fifth, 5 points ahead of pompey, and three ahead of spurs if they beat wigan. Too [Poor language removed] close for comfort though Chico, cant help but talk about pompey.

I still make us sixth on the predictor with the same rankings as DomEFC17.

Of course, purely for Europe, the big game is this afternoon in the cup and if Chelsea win the pressure is relieved. Otherwise, I have a feeling that we are going to have to get a win against Utd (which I would actually be quite confident about).

I actually fancy us against both United and Chelsea. United are suffering with injuries at the moment so their squad is stretched. They also both have big CL games coming up so could be mentally tired and we've shown against both sides this season that we can live with them. If we really go at them then I can us getting a result from both games.

I have to agree with Bruce on this. We really should be looking at 8 points from the last 4 games, (at least 8 points).

At least draws with man ure and chelski. that way we can enter our European campaign showing people that they can no longer expect us to roll over and take a butt [Poor language removed]. We have arrived and intend to stay. No more damage limitation, we go and attack when needed and keep possesion. My biggest worry as ever is that we don't close teams down fast enough at times and keep inviting them into our box. We must stop this. but all in all I am looking forward to the brighter days of the toffees. Dam I love this club.
