My point is we're probably only going to get one more season out of him the same way the RS did with Suarez, and that nobody should realistically get excited that this new five year deal means he will be here for another five years - not that anyone here was daft enough to (I hope).

Romelu Lukaku has agreed a new five year deal at Everton with "all terms legally agreed between all representatives" according to Jim White on talkSPORT.

Jim White: "Lukaku will put pen to paper this week, it's all legally agreed, it's all done. It just needs to be signed off".

I agree mate, we're too crap for him at the moment. What Koeman no doubt wants is a team full of players as good or as capable as Lukaku. Sadly the reality is that it's not going to happen before Lukaku leaves, in my opinion of course.

I agree. We are about 5-6 players off being good enough for him to stick around.
