It's with regret that we have disabled/removed the reputation system.

There's been a sharp rise in Evertonians leaving abusive reputation comments to other Evertonians.

Unfortunately, the way in which the software is configured, we're unable to notice an abusive reputation comment unless the particular member notifies us.

I'll be trawling through all comments made in the past several weeks and banning any member who has left abusive messages.

I'll be looking to introduce an alternative system which doesn't leave us so open to abuse.

I think it was fair. Assuming you didn't neg rep people just because you disagreed with them. Which I didn't.

Each rep not being equal was a good thing. It meant that the snidey kitts couldn't really affect your rep score, for example.

Although with hindsight rep score did seem to be directly proportional to casual gayness. That is maybe a slight flaw.

It took me a good year or so to move off of one green dot, by the start of this summer I had the power to rep a good 7 or so dots in one go. I've never had such power. They were all ale house reps. Nothing really Everton related sadly. I still remember my first rep though and that was Everton related, Neiler god love him, gave it to me as I think I was trying to give reasons as to why we shouldn't sign some player (defo not Krul). He told me to post more, via a rep. For that reason, I am thankful for the rep system!

I didn't even realise there was such a thing as a Goodison legend etc until this year when you hovered over those powerful dots.

It makes me sad thinking that they've gone forever. I think I gained 10 reps (or sympathy votes) for the GOT trumps thread. I'd like to thank you all who repped and pointed out that I have no life x

I think I had just under 30,000 or something an obscene amount really considering I do speak continual sh*te.

I got twelve reps in one day once, good and bad like, but still.

And now it's gone, everything I worked hard for: vanished on the whim of a dictator. I feel so empty. Cold and empty.

Might have been 300 000 mate. I think you hit Goodison legend at 50K, and I had 220K I think.

It's very sad I know these things, I know. Super sad.

I was actually ranked number 1 Champion at 1 point, it was when Chico was off the grid.

But after I came back from my ban and then my break, I could never reach those dizzy heights again.

RIP green dots.

We miss the popcorn NightRider brought.

RIP The 1 and only Snide Twins, TxB and Cal, who paid the ultimate price, but made us some great popcorn.

I don't think I ever got any red squares. It's safe to say it now without getting bumrepped.

I got a few grey ones from demented former posters like, but I guess I'm the complete opposite of marmite. Too unimportant to warrant bothering about with red bits.

I'M WHITE BREAD FFS.

I got plenty of reds like, fair enough I deserved a few of them.

Just to pick up on Goat's point there, I hope that the razmatazz of Sniderman doesn't overshadow The Godfather of Kitt - The Snide. The original, and best for my money. He very nearly brought the whole place down.

Wonderful, wonderful weekends of paranoia and chatbox.
