Should Moyes apologise to Evertonians?

I couldn’t care less what he has said in the past, I care about what he is going to say and do from today onwards. I don’t want an apologist taking decisions that effect my club, I want a ruthless ******* in charge doing what he thinks is best. If we all had to apologise for things we should not have said in the past there would be an awful lot of apologising going on. He has a big job on his hands, let’s not allow pettiness to get in his way, he starts with a clean slate as far as I’m concerned, if he starts winning games then he is doing his job, if not then that is the real issue.

With the imminent appt of David Moyes I’m sure many of you picked up on some bad feeling amongst our fellow Evertonians on his return.

The bad blood persists from his exit and stint as Man Utd Manager. You may recall this.

It’s really important right now to unite a divided fanbase so should Moyes apologise first day to help turn a new leaf? Would be a sign of strong leadership for many.

Poll attached.

To be fair, he has a point.

Thank you for my new avatar.

I only care about the things he (or any other Everton manager) has said or says when he’s manager of Everton.
Couldn’t give a toss about what any other muppet pundit or manager at another club says about us. It’s their job to have a go at us.
Yes, there was unpleasantness at the way Davey chose to go, but I’m more than happy to believe that Kenwright was behind most of those to protect his own “reputation”, given the rest of PR atrocities that Bill’s vanity inflicted on the Club and it’s support.

I think its fine to dislike the way he left us and his comments / actions afterwards, what wont be fine is for those who hold a grudge to boo at the games. That will be massively counter productive and at the end of the day whether we wanted him back or not (I didn't by the way), we all want him to succeed in keeping us up. So I hope everyone supports the team, I think the manager will be a short term appointment regardless.

He should double down and demand an apology from Evertonians who have allowed all his good work to go to waste.

All those who lowered the standards and applauded Benitez, Allardyce and Dyche. Those who let this club fall into disrepair and besmirched the memory of those generations of true blues who came before.

1: Putting the fans expectations down every season, "knife to a gunfight"

2: Working for United while being paid by Everton.

3: Tapping up Baines

4: Tapping up Fellaini

5: Saying Everton are holding up players careers (those he was tapping up)

Anything else ?

Cant believe the new owners have stopped so low as to hire this guy back.

What’s the point really.. we move on, if he struggles he will be constantly reminded and hounded out, if he does well… he won’t…

We’re better than that, in my view
