Return of Moyes atmosphere?

What are the exact quotes, anyone got them? I dont care myself what he book says, he is a total word that will be removed for poor language!!!!
Not sure but everything I have seen says SAF told him that when he retired he would be manager, then months later, he told him he was retiring and that he was going to be manager this year.
Moyes told the press he only just found out he was the manager.. which was true despite knowing he was going to be at some point already.. and certain fans outright disbelieve or don't get the difference and think its a lie.

He's still been a massive tw@ but I don't think the conspiracy is quite as is being made out.

Moyes knew he was going to be manager
SAF then left and he knew he was the manager
Two different things, two different times.

Not seen anything to the contrary but the enthusiasm for the theory that Moyes knew when SAF was retiring and that he was getting the job suggests there must be some out there. I'll happily 360 if presented with any sort of evidence that they are lying.

Is this the real Ihaters or a fake :)
I only ever defended his record for us mate, using the stats, facts and what i've seen with my own eyes against an increasingly bizarre series of slatings... Did you know for example that Sam Alledyce was more imaginative in the transfer market than Moyes?
I'll defend his time here to the last. He did a great job for us despite what the angry mob claim. The facts clearly show this.

But.. I've said it before, whilst he was an excellent Everton manager, he's always been a s**t Evertonian.
He undermined his own work with his negative views of the club, and when he left, he turned on us in an instant.

Clearly he did this to promote himself to his new fan base and make himself seem more loyal to the new club, but a decent man wouldn't have to.
Martinez hasn't slated Wigan for example. He did go back and decimate their squad mind you and lost a lot of fans doing so, but he never belittled anyone there whilst doing it (that I know of anyway).

He was good for us, he's now lost without us, but we're now far better without him.. We'd likely be no where near this good even with Martinez, without the work Moyes did before he left us though.

surely wigan would understand. he only bought mccathy and kone, probably their two best players, and they must have been pretty resigned to losing them, being in the championship. also got £20m as well.

The atmosphere is going to be [poor language removed] boss tomorrow lids. Moyes, Clattenburg, Rooney, Neville are all coming to Town and we are going to absolutely [poor language removed] these. Imagine If Hull get a result as well, Arsenal will grind it out though. Please Hull x

"My successor, although we didn't know it at the time, David Moyes brought Everton to our ground in February 2013"

He also talks about meeting David Gill in February and tells him he's going to retire and then later having talks with Glazer in New York about appointing his successor.

Not according to their forums, by the time we bought Kone, Alkaraz, McCarthy and Robles they were steaming.

My heart tells me we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 5-0 with a similar 'footballing lesson', my head tells me it could be a nervy draw. Fortunately, my head knows jack s**t, all heart me.
30 years.... remember it like it was yesterday.. RIP Joey Travers, Georgie Hanley - Proud to have stood on the Gwladys next to you that day...

For me this is the most damning indictment of our former manager :

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...s-sign-new-Everton-deal-hold-bigger-club.html

The former Manchester United boss said, 'He (Moyes) phoned me around February for some advice about his contract, they were pushing him to sign a new contract.

'I knew in myself I was going to retire, so I’m thinking If he signed a contract it would be more difficult for us.

'I said to him you’ve had ten years there that’s long enough, you’ll get a bigger club.

'I kept phoning him to make sure he wasn’t going to sign a new contract.

'We had to wait till the league was decided, once the league was decided I got David over to the house and I think he thought we were going to talk about his contract again, but I said look I want you to take over.'

It couldn't be clearer : Moyes decided not to sign a new contract because Fergie had given him a nod and a wink, and this was months before the end of the season.

I'm indifferent to berating Moyes now. If we were 7th and United 4th I'd be looking to give him stick. But, this game is too important. We (the fans) need to concentrate on backing the team. 3points vital here. Some of media think we should be applauding him. But for me, he had his applause in the final game of last season. He and his team are the enemy today. He keeps repeating that he works for Man Utd etc etc, thats fair enough. So equally he shouldnt expect us to be 'nice' to him.

The atmosphere will be at best feverant and at worst hostile. I am not sure how the 2 clubs we want so desperately to lose are playing before us will effect this. That stupid midweek result has meant we cannot just focus on our results, and no one with a brain wants the horrors to win it, though the fa and refs have already sorted it sadly.

Today could be amazing (Norwich, Hull and Everton win). It does not bear thinking of the reverse.
