Im devastated, it really affected me when I saw his Dad explaing how he was to start 'big school' and how excited he was, and the small things like his unopened calculator and little school uniform were still hung up. [Poor language removed] sad

Mick, I could not agree with you more mate, never knew the kid but can't get his face out of my thoughts, gutted.

i heard his dad on the radio last night saying that mike, it really struck home as my wife had just finished getting the school uniforms and school pens, geometry sets and the like for our children, all i could think was of our children's uniforms still being in the wardrobe after school had re-opened and that thought chilled me to the bone, words can hardly describe this killing, i hope the bastards responsible are caught and the key thrown away.
Like everybody else on here, my thought are with his family and friends.

Well my first reaction was one of sadness. Now that I have two little boys of my own, I react much, much differently when I hear news like this than I did before I had kids.

Senseless is the word I'm looking for.

Apparently The Sun are offering 100k for information. Now this is good of them don't get me wrong, but something is telling me that theire motives are not entirely correct.

i dislike kopites as much as any sane individual, but taking the 'thieving scousers' belief that far was an abomination.

I'm just thankful they've got someone for this as I felt that the local community may have let the city down by shielding this murderous git, shielding not through any charitable reason but through terror and intimidation.

Jesus Christ Monty, how the hell can you say such a thing, of course we all care and feel for his family, this was as shocking as anything i've heard or seen on the news for many a year.

Sorry Latch but when I came on here many threads were busy and this was about to slip on to the next page. It seemed to me that many had been in and simply ignored it. The more old fashioned respect we get back into our society, at all levels, then may be we can start tackling the filth that carry out indiscriminate crimes like this. Where are you coming from Suits? I'm talking about people showing respect to the deceased, the word respect has been stolen to mean many things, including subservience in some quarters. I'm talking about respect for your fellow man, instil that in people and perhaps we may improve, allow people to go round shooting others dead without a second thought then we as a society will cease to exist. In this case we have an 11 year old blue murdered in broad daylight, he deserves our respect.

the loss is tragic, but lets celebrate that he lived, we can empathise with the family - only they know the true loss.

i put it to the entire board that a society so toothless to properly punish its psychopaths and criminally minded is inviting a state of fear and terror onto itself.

im proactive me, lets get biblical, you dont hear of many rapists and murderers in the middle east.

its time to kill the killers, paedophiles, and rapists. cancer is removed so it cant do anymore harm. i know of no reformed rehabilitated cancer.

I've suggested in another thread that we must start somewhere, how about amending Human rights legislation to exclude individuals found guilty of these crimes thus giving a chance for punishments to mean something........we have to start somewhere
