In financial terms he's done a good job no doubt.
For me he's destroyed forever the game I grew up loving. The game in which Nottm Forest could be promoted from the old Div2 and become league champions in the next season.
What we have now is a mini league of 5 or 6 money bag clubs.
Boring and predictable unless you support one of those.
Thank you Scudamore for making a commodity out of part of England's heritage.

To be fair, that was a once in a generation thing as well......maybe even unique in post war football.

I can’t recall any other team doing it in my football supporting life, starting round about 1962.

I concur with the rest of your post :)

Hope someone challenges DBB or Mosh on this awful decision. Food banks everywhere they could have give the money to, grass root league fees could have been paid for all teams in Liverpool for a few years. Lots of people rightfully disgusted by this. Austerity is obviously only for the poor.

Shame on both Everton and Liverpool.
Think this correct. There is a van by the Park End every game collecting basic food for people who can not afford to eat. There is something really immoral about this whole saga.

I feel like we're probably been backed into a corner here and it isn't as simple as saying no.

Something more in this one for sure but we'll probably never hear the truth.
You can always say no, might take a bit of courage or the will to stand up when everyone else are on their knees
