Instead of throwing £5M at a guy already ridiculously well remunerated for just doing his job why not ask the PL clubs to chuck £250,000 to sort a few 5-a-side 4G pitches for local kids?

Thoughts on this? I'd rather we give the money to Everton in the Community or the foodbank than "donate" to someone already picking up £2.5m a year.

2.5 million a year for the last 20 years on top of whatever else he has his fingers in isn't enough you see. Multi millionaires need more and what better way to get more than his very corrupt organisation extorting 5 million from the premier league clubs and calling it a 'contribution'. Tap up young players or Managers and you are criminals and will get half a million pound fine and a 2 year ban. Extort 5 million from premier league clubs to make a rich man even richer is just fine.

Why are the club's being asked to do this? Surely a severance package is the responsibility of his employer, the fabulously wealthy premier League. Let them pay him.

My last severance packing was slightly different , I was accused of stealing 50 grand and told I would be getting kneecapped.
