Hopefully we'll start to have decent players regularly enough to not ever do this again. I don't mind keeping tabs but the cheering and posts about him coming back are a bit pathetic.

It’s utterly bizarre isn’t it. Don’t get people who feel one extreme or the other about him, he’s just a player that player for us for a few years, was mostly decent, sometimes poor and sometimes good, and then left and we made money on him. I can’t get into the headspace where I care about how he does at Spurs one way or the other.

I think its a throwback to the end of last season, and how we bought into him, and vica versa. He made us smile in a dark few weeks.
