Richarlison at Spurs

We've perhaps lost better players, but I think the influence Richarlison provided and his connection with the club and fans is fairly unique in the past decade.

He's one of those players who 'got Everton'.

True but there were many games were he persistently lost the ball trying to take someone on / roll around like Gordon does.

He isn't a world class player he was just a good player in a bang average side.

It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if he came back to Everton at some later point such was the “Once Everton has touched you” connection.

Whether that would be a good move for either (they don’t often work out eg Ronaldo, Rooney etc) but still have a feeling we’ll see him back one day.

You may be right about the top part. But, he was one of very few players who saved us last year with his talent, attitude and general doggedness.

It was all combined that made him so special for us. I have a bit of a Kevin Campbell feeling of him: not the best player, but he was priceless in many ways.

I loved the lad but I've seen us lose better players.

Still think he should have stayed as he'll be a bit part player at Spurs for the foreseeable but we needed the dough and he wanted CL togger.

Backing himself to oust their regulars and playing in Europe.

Why would he stay?

As for your first sentence, I've never seen you say anything nice about him.
