Spurs front line is pretty decent, I don’t think there’s any shame in struggling to be a regular / displacing an established sound attacking force there. Always looked an odd move for him tbf.

Who can afford him? Spurs aren't going to take a loss after a year.Poor career move for the pigeon - hopefully he’s onto his agent at the end of the season to get out of there.
Even if we don’t/can’t afford him back here, he deserves to play more footy matches.
Indeed. This was precisely my position. He is a very good player, capable of inspiration, but deeply flawed at the highest level of the game. People held him up because he played for Brazil - but I suspect many of those people haven't really been watching Brazil over the last 15 years...
Brazil, like Germany at the moment, are not the barometer they usually were. I mean, Thilo Kehrer is a German international and still looks a bad West Ham United player just as some of us predicted he would be prior to his move.
Agreed. Can’t see him coming back. As much as I’d like to have him back, I just don’t see it happening. He'd be looking to go to Spain or Italy if he leaves Tottenham.
Seen enough of your posts to know you’re not one of our ‘peeps’The lad couldn't get out of Merseyside quick enough, only time he's coming back is on the opposite team. Some peeps on here are deluded. He's not that good anyway, average.
COYB!
John.
