I can't really recall too many transfers between Everton and Spurs (either direction) being raging successes.

There's just some clubs you shouldn't deal with. Same with West Ham. More in our direction though. Danny Williamson ffs.

While certain people disagree, I would have him back here without a shadow of a doubt. He got Everton and Everton got him.

This is my take on it. He'll want to play CL football or at a higher level of the game, but I doubt he'll find the adoration he received from our fans elsewhere.

He'll be guaranteed starts, he'd get to choose his position and the fan base would be behind him - sometimes, that's worth more than taking the risk.

Most players want money and a crack at trophies. I'm sure he's not regretting leaving Everton whatsoever, just maybe picking Spurs over another CL side.

Conte will go end of the season then, maybe Kane, he'll get more minutes.
