Confirmed Signing Richarlison

Conclusive proof (if needed) that the Club is being run for Money Laundering/Tax Dodging purposes, and not football.
The guy has had 10 good games for Watford, and done nothing since November.

Ridiculous purchase.

Or maybe Watford are missed of at Everton at the moment and are rinsing us?.

Why else would we continue to pay massively over the odds for average players knowing that we will never in a month of Sundays see that money again?
Do you think for one minute we will make a profit on him when he gets bundled out of the Club the first season after Silva is gone?

If you never see the money again kind of defeats the purpose of laundering it doesnt it?

A genuine question here; when a new manager makes one of his former players a top priority, how often does it work out for the better? McCarthy was (from memory) the first target for Bobby and Schneds for Ron, just sayin'

Remember Lukaku for 28m and many Everton fans and all fans over the country thought we were taken to the cleaners. Not saying Richarlison will prove everyone wrong but it does happen. Remember Lescott the risky championship player. Cahill the risky championship player. Martial at United was a bit of a disaster initially. All signing are gambles regardless but as long as we can afford £40m for Richarlison without going into liquidation or massive debt then fair enough. Problem for Everton is that we need several big signings to move forward rather than the odd one now and then.

I don’t remember anyone thinking that with Lukaku personally, I just remember mass excitement that we were paying that much (how times change) for a very good footballer
