Its also Liverpool/Napoli/Roma/Dortmund/Atletico/Arsenal/Juve's way. Every club apart from Real/Barca/Bayern/City/PSG (the latter 2 because of £££) are a selling club.
Yeah, it;s great that we're in that company...hold on....

Well he had a great first few months didn't he, but went off the boil quite badly after the Silva situation and even worse when he eventually was sacked. He didn't score a goal in the second half of the season, I believe. Is that right? So it's a bit of a questionable one, because £50 million is a lot of money. When you're paying that much you'd expect proven quality – do a couple of good performances count as proven in the Premier League? I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.

No goals or no assists since November Browns.

Thats 7 months of doing utterly nothing on the pitch, quite impressive really.

The way I see it, he projects long term as a well rounded player that can hang in the premier league. If you can have that plus a little Brazilian flair, it will do wonders for you in the table.

Where I waver (as yourself), is he fell off a cliff in the second half of the season. We still don’t know if he is a half a season wonder, yet we are paying out the rear end for him. That, and we already have Lookman who looks like a real offensive talent (I’d like to think we have no intention of selling him on the cheap).

If we keep Lookman, this move does not bother me. If this is his replacement, I have a big problem with this move.

He downed tools after Silva left. Not saying that isn't a problem in itself, but his lack of output was not because of a lack of ability.

Silva and him both speak Portuguese , he's a young kid don't how good his English is , so the boss is someone he can talk to .

That's the way market's gone now though isn't it? Since the Neymar deal the whole thing has shifted up another notch again, and all of a sudden you're looking at £50 million for a half-decent player.

I dont give i FF about the money. Nobody should
Its not your money its about ambition and bringing an exciting player in who our manager really wanted
I applaud our ambition and I applaud the board for backing the manager

This is a common fallacy. Of course you should care about whether the business side of the club is being run in a sensible way. You would certainly care if the club went the way of Leeds, Villa, and their like.
