Saying "for the price of Sigurdsson and Richarlison we could have had Ronaldo" is plain dumb. Fee doesn't matter. Players want to go to a club that suits them and their goals. We can't attract the Salahs or the Ronaldos or even the Girouds. We have to build up from what we can attract right now. If we have to pay big fees to get them, so be it.

Richarlison is a big fee, yes. But there's no trophy for profit or loss. He's young, our manager likes him, he likes our manager and has 1 premier league season under his belt already. I think he will do very well here. If he comes, don't get hung up on the other names linked and say "but we could have signed ...". For all we know it was all fake journalism anyway.
