Isnt it interesting that he was the CF replacement for Pedro though? Hes played there for Brazil u20s before...

He certainly will be seeing that he is unlikely to displace Neymar on the left anytime soon and may see the pathway to the team as a centre forward...i wonder if other posters are right and we may see him evolve into that position over the course of the season.

I'd guess it's more likely to be over the course of the coming seasons but it does seem that more than a few people have him pegged to pay there at some point

I'm not sure. The position hes been playing for us could be occupied by either Bernard, Lookman or Onyekuru (next season).

So theres that + Tosun's form and DCLs development...a few factors.

I’ve said that he may end up playing CF
Bernard plays on the left as does Lookman and Henry
I know Silva said that Bernard was competing with Siggy for a place but if Tosun doesn’t start scoring regularly than maybe Bernard on the left and Ricarlison up top could be an option
He has the attributes required
Pace , good in the air , physical and can finish

..I suppose the only unknown is his back to goal, hold-up play against regular Centre Backs. Running the channels and getting in behind would be a major plus, but you wouldn’t want every out ball to come straight back. It’s an option, though.

All depends on the game mate. Away from home playing on the break I think we should be playing either Richarlison or Calvert Lewin up top. Not every game though as you say.

Yeah, it is a good read. And those potential stars played in a team that didn’t even reach the FIFA U20s World Cup last year - imagine if a club had five players in the squad that actually won it, the clubs fans would be raving about those youngsters ...or maybe not.

Agreed. Against the big teams on the road this is how we should play. Make Richardson a Jamie Vardy type striker.

I think he's a ST personally.

Left hand side is perfect as he develops his game. But he's dominant in the air and has pace to burn.

Or we can just sell tosun and bring in a decent striker.
Richarlison should be kept on the left, he gets forward and can track back helping solidify the left hand side, an upgrade to what we had with baines/pienaar before he left for spurs.

I don't think richarlison has the discipline to lead the line. I can see him chasing down lost causes and committing a lot of fouls when he doesent get his way. Plus he is easily to wound up, plus he only has a 25% shooting accuracy.
