Anyone reckon this lad could play through the middle in a few years time? Seems to have the attributes for it.

Yeah I think so, definitely. What is going under the radar a bit is how good he is in air from the first ball (usually Pickford). He pins his full back well and typically wins the ball with Tosun buzzing around behind him.

I find it surprising that Richarlison signing for us was given such negative coverage by the media.
Last year, just 20 and in a completely new country he showed glimpses of what real talent he had.
His form was patchy... and still a very young player I think we will see that as well this season. He lost Silva as manager and there seems to be a trust between them which possibly explains how we were able to prise him away from Watford.

However, very few of the pundits seemed to recognise the potential that clearly appears to be there. I think the only uncertainty is just exactly how good he can become.

With Pundits and the so called experts it also makes a difference who signs you. Shaqiri was shocking for Stoke and when we were linked all the papers were talking about what a terrible player he was, what a waste of money he’d be and all that. The RS sign him and it’s astute business and he’s a gem of a player.

Richarlison was linked with United and Chelsea the first half of last season and that was fine, the 40m price being thrown around was acceptable for a young raw talent. When it’s us though we’ve overpaid and ruined the market.

It’ll take a while and we’ll need to actually achieve something to change that opinion.

Can you imagine Richarlison making this type of impact at the RS or United? Pundits would be talking about what a streal he was at 40m, instead of us ruining the transfer window. For what it’s worth Silva and the Everton fans greatly appreciate his talent and workrate and they are the most important people to impress.

Yeah, he's not likely to get picked anytime soon which can only benefit us in the long term as he will be fresher from less travel. He is fighting for the same spot as Neymar, Malcom, and Rodrigo(latest 18year old Santos wonderkid)

Dont think there is one mate. Barca have with the defender we bought, but not till 2020, and £60m iirc.
