I thought that was a ridiculous thing to do. Notice how people like Klopp do the complete opposite? All that Silva calling him out will do is reiterate to referees and other fans that he's a diver and we'll potentially be getting fewer 50/50 calls as a result (Andy Johnson syndrome).

In fact I can't think of a single successful top flight manager that has ever come out and criticised his own player for diving.

Pochettino did it last season, saying Alli dived but it was just part of the game. I remember Alex Ferguson doing it with Ashley Young too, and he was relatively successful if I recall.

Absolutely not. Ross was one of those players who looked better on FIFA than real life. Football IQ of zero and never produced anything like Richy.

I thought we already determined Ross wasn't a CM b/c he doesn't track back and doesn't have a good feel for the game. So ultimately Evertonians decided he's an attacking mid. If you want to play the wing vs centre argument be my guest.

All I"m saying is Barkley is vastly overrated by many of our supporters

Its about how and when to do it though.

He never gets a free kick and he sometimes goes down when its better for him to stay up. He play acts more than dives but his acting is rubbish.

I dont think hes any better or worse then any other forward player in the PL pal, its rampant throughout the game, in fact football has gone so sanitised now, i think there me abiout two fouls the whole game that deserves a free kick, i dont think hes better or worse then anyone else. I can remember games where he has got kicked to bits and got nothing, or retaliated to getting kicked to bit and sent off, i think hes been coached to go down rather then the other two if im being frankly honest. The whole world is at it.

Kovacic was pretty much a wonderkid before Inter picked him up before he went to Real. It’s not like he’s being kept out the team by a donkey.

I’d have Ross back here tomorrow personally but appreciate a lot wouldn’t.

I don't really care if he goes down or not but he has got to be smarter in how he does it. Most other players there is at least some form of doubt, Richarlison makes it obvious, even something like holding the correct body part (ie not his head when he has been kicked in the ankle) would be a start.

I would. He isn't the answer to the problem, hes part of a solution though. I think some would argue he's too similar to Gomes.

Oh, have to say I think they are particularly different types of players. But I haven't watched Boss rarely for some time since he left so who knows.

Never gets a free kick? He "won" 73 free kicks last season, the fifth highest in the league - and he's up there in the top ten most fouled so far this season.

Nah. Ross has never had the talent he can barely pick a pass, he had purple patches but could lead a midfield? No - could he grab the game by the neck? No
. Lukaku has demonstrated it every single year since he arrived on the scene, Richarlison is too inconsistent to be brilliant, he has ability but i'm not sure he will ever blossom.

He had the talent but he was thick, really thick. If he had the smarts of even someone like Osman (not a popular call I know) he would have been almost untouchable.
