Not sure this is the full interview but there's enough snippets of it there to get the gist of what he's saying, hopefully your translation is better than google.

Very amusing Bungle. I almost thought how nice of him to have gone through the trouble to find the article but I should know better by now.

My question is are you the one in the middle of the pack?

This is a very likely outcome, in my opinion. It may even be where the Umtiti rumours originate from.

Barcelona are looking to recycle many of their squad who they have deemed not good enough. Richarlison is a player that fits their profile but would they pay £80m+ for him? I'm not sure.

Maybe a deal involving Richarlison joining Barcelona in exchange for Umtiti and Emerson + a sum of money would suit all parties.
Barcelona are flat broke. They must reduce their wages bill hugely in the January window. Rich pickings are there!!

They have reduced their wage bill in the summer by selling or releasing big earners like Suarez, Rakitic, Vidal, Turan and Rafinha. They also made a profit by selling players like Semedo and Arthur. Their squad is quite small now. I don't know if they will let lots and lots of players leave but if that is where Richarlison decides to go, there may be a chance to look at players on the fringes like Emerson, Umtiti, Fernandes or maybe Riqui Puig (although I could see Barcelona wanting to include a buy-back clause with him)

So what happens if he asks to go (very possible) but we don't get the fee we want (also.very possible due to his low scoring output and covid financial crisis for many teams).

I ask because I don't know this management team that well. Other clubs like Madrid try to accommodate the player's wish while clubs like Tottenham hold out to get the biggest fee.
To be honest, it hasn't really happened much under this regime. Lukaku was the only major one since Moshiri took over, but that was pre-Brands and it's unclear who would have negotiated the sale because the setup was such a shambles.

Before that, Kenwright was always willing to sell but tended to get decent fees. Nothing outrageous, but likewise he never really sold for cheap. Most of the time we had to sell players rather than prevent them from leaving because we needed the money.

The majority of the matches in the PL he has played as LW, and the same while he was in Brazil. So I do not quite understand what you mean.

I mean that he's not going to generate as many goals and assists playing at LW, relative to playing centrally. For better or for worse, those are the statistics that tend to lead to big paydays for attackers.

Personnel for Brazil are such that he's going to play LW when he plays. We have options, and we're currently choosing an approach that gets the best out of DCL for obvious reasons.

Barca can't afford him despite all that
