I know we have injuries, but in any event I think tonight showed us that as much as we now have a pretty decent core team, we’re really lacking depth still to really mount a serious challenge (just yet)

I'm gutted mate, honestly it's just another kick in the teeth and I left the room so the kids and wife couldn't see how angry and disappointed I am.
But I'm also a realist and that he genuinely thought that was his best team tonight and they deserved the chance to get through. We fell short physically, mentally looked shot and it was just one game too many.

We miss the quality but when they're injured we've had to defend and beat Chelsea, Leicester and Arsenal...had to defend sgsin against a team with more quality..then Richarlison too.
Take James, Allan, Digne, Richarlison out and you know you've stripped the quality. It's as good as the fourth game with the same lack of quality team could be...United just have far more depth and can rest players.

I get it Fernandes pushes him but the damage is done by Bailly being out of control and the most dangerous act is Bailly hip checking him in the head. So Bailly should have got the red.
Definitely shouldn't play for a couple weeks though. Clearly concussed.

United made a lot of changes to their starting line up tonight and looked much fresher right from the start, we just didn’t have that luxury.
Against all my better judgement I do feel like we’ve got our best chance in years of really pushing on under Moshiri/Brands/Ancelotti. After nearly 3 decades of always being on the end of disappointment it’s hard to really believe it though

If you watch the footage in sure he's out cold in the air, he goes ridged, then when he hits the floor he seems to go into autopilot but like boxers when they get knocked out and end up throwing punched whilst on the deck.
