Warrior on the pitch for us. Whether he plays well or not the opposition always know they're in a game with him. That yellow he picked up was brilliant. Clattered Townsend just because the opportunity arose.
His dribbling and hold up play seem to have improved a lot lately. For me, that was the main weakness in his game. The improvement there takes him up another level.

Got the bit between his teeth, offers so much to the team. Great balance we have in the front three now. Good for him to get off the mark in the prem. Shame he couldn’t control James’ first time through ball into his path or would have been in on goal and would have fancied him to score.

Just going back to the Cup game against Salford, there was a moment around the 76 minute mark that has stuck with me because we've just sown up the game and the camera switches to him warming up - he looks a tad disappointed because he knows now he isn't coming on!
His desire to win is heartening. He's improved season on season. It's pleasing that his quality as a player is dwarfed by his work rate.
I was a little nervous when he stepped up to take our penalty, I recall him taking a dreadful one in the League Cup shoot out a few seasons back - but he took today's with aplomb.
It must be great having Rodriguez in the same team as him, not just because of his ability but it means there is less pressure on Richarlison as our only creative outlet, he's also not the 'star man' and can go about his business quietly and effectively.
