As a club I would be telling him there is no chance he’s playing at the Copa America and Olympics.

He needs rest and reflection at his stinking form.

Thing is he’s had quite a lot of rest, big break over the shut down, and then even this season he had a three game ban and a period out with injury. He’s not been overplayed, he’s just been rubbish pretty much from the start of the season missing an open net v Spurs to the end apart from a couple of weeks in Jan Feb when DCL was out.

I'm not overly worried about a bad season. That happens. My view is he is owed a bad season, having had 2 very good ones that helped steer us away from relegation trouble. I have no issue at all with that and I would back him to bounce back.

What I do have an issue with is a percieved attitude that he may have. He doesn't look happy on the pitch. Some of his behaviour, snatching balls for free kicks and penalties, squaring up to players, Ancelotti saying he made him promises that he can give us 1 more season and we will finish in Europe etc all looks very suspect to me. If he doesn't want to be here, and thinks he's too good for the club, then the time is probably right to move him on.

As I think I said earlier in another thread, him missing key chances against Crystal Palace and Sheffield United will be the difference between us being 9/10th and 5th. So he has prevented us playing in Europe, not the other way.

If he wants to come back, knuckle down, stop sulking about not being the number 9 etc, I'm delighted to have him on board. But I don't think we should be accepted any attitude from any player, including Richarlison.
 

Sulk or not sulk he works hard and sometimes to his detriment. When should be concentrating on what he does offensively his work rate tracking back could be effecting what he is not doing going forward. Should be in the box alot more but tactics dictate different. Would be a far more effective player if we can sort some positions out.

I think he also misses the fans there more than others. Poor season for him but I would be hoping he is keen on staying and working with Carlo.
