Maybe his wish to play ST forced us play on this two strikers formation thing. He is not clinical enough to play as a striker. And there is not a partnership between him and Dcl. Fill in striker for a couple of matches yes permanent striking option no. Back to the LW it is his best position and most effective role in the team.

I have thought the same and it’s not acceptable. He can’t be allowed to demand where he plays, especially when it results in an awkward, utterly crap formation, which nobody else bothers with. If he isn’t prepared to play where he is told, then he simply needs to leave.

Both have a habit of thinking they are better than they are though. I wonder if Richy was saying something to Ederson/Jesus and Holgate has maybe told him to come away and it has kicked off

Richarlison is a still a very good player imo. Just don’t think him and DCL work as a two up top. Plus he’d probably look better if the midfield didn’t consist of slugs.

He's just not very good. He's a decent finisher, good at heading and is quite quick but not fast. Besides that, and putting in a shift when he feels like it, he's absolute rubbish.

He's also a cheat, a sulk and a dirty player.

It just further proves that there’s no team cohesion or togetherness in this current squad. He’s one of the main culprits Richarlison, squaring up to his team mates in front of his own fans, demanding he takes set pieces when he’s not very good at them, throwing tantrums when he’s subbed. I suspect it’s an age thing and he will get better as he gets older but it’s not good to see.

they're dire together, i dont know why we stuck with the 2 up top formation when it clearly doesnt work with them

His best seasons have been when he played off the left and came inside. Should be where he plays from next season too - he's not a number 9 for me.
