2020/21 Richarlison

One thing I will say is Carlo needs to make up his mind about where he plays. I think he's been pandering to Richarlison playing him through the middle at the cost of our shape.

He either plays him upfront and tells DCL and him to show him who he should be starting or he sticks him back out wide and tell him to get over it.

I'm usually perplexed when fans question his attitude because despite having underwhelming season compared to the standard previously set in past seasons. His constant brooding to me is a symptom of him being discontent with realizing his own demanding expectations. It's not professional but he hustles even in games where his decision making is dubious. He always makes extensive contributions defensively but never gets credit because that not the main onus of his position. I'd like him to develop a greater level of maturity and not let his emotions dictate his game but his effort is usually feisty. I think this off season is just a anomaly.

Still our best player mo

The difference when he isn't on the pitch is unbelievably noticeable. Has effort and fight in spades, if a handful more of our first 11 had his fight and graft we'd easily be several points better off.
Would love him as a second striker if we had a PROPER left winger

He's one of our better players but that doesn't mean he's necessarily that good.

He's been nowhere near champions league standard this season so needs to pull his finger out, stop going to ground every five minutes, and start passion to his strike partner.

Something has to give with Richarlison.

He made noises about leaving last summer and said that CA had convinced him to stay “one more year” which maybe means CA thought the team would make Europe.

Either CA convinces Richarlison to stay “one more year” (again) or we may hear more noises start to come from Richarlison and his agent in the coming weeks.

If he does leave, I am not sure Everton will not get his maximum price in this window. I can think of no team who will pay £60m+ for a player who scored 7 league goals last season.

Sacrifice Richarlison and keep DCL imo. Play 4-3-3 but get better wide men to support DCL and lay up the 6 yard box chances. People that can beat a man and whip the ball across.

Richarlison been stinking the place out all season for me
