I don't get this at all!

Richarlison seems like a really good kid (that makes me feel old) always sticking up for us on social media etc. I have seen zero disruptive behavior from him unless we are believing that weird Holgate thing from some spurious source?

He works his backside off for us on the pitch and always has good things to say about us. Leave him alone!

I am not saying he will do this, but it would not surprise me if he did. Other players have done this to get their move. I hope he has the heart to fight one more season for the blues!

Very much an average player and I saw nothing at Fulham or Watford or wherever it was we got him from, to convince me that he was the missing link. Whilst I can tolerate this to a point, as with the best coaching ALL players can be improved, I’m sick to the back teeth of the Man-child antics (to coin a modern phrase) and the unsavoury incident with Holgate at the weekend was the camel that, for me, broke the proverbial camel’s back. I never want to see him in Royal Blue again.
This is why I believe you saw nothing

I never go on RS fan sites so I am guessing, but I suspect that they regard all their players as super heroes. Granted most of them are better players than ours, but nevertheless I think there is too much slagging off our players on this website. I can't think of many who escape vilification. Richarlison is the latest target. He is not perfect and not very likeable either, but he is certainly good enough for us. Poor footballers should be called for what they are which is fair enough.

Big Dunc. Southall. Arteta as a player. Baines prior to the end.

This does not say good things about us. I mean, people occasionally slate Digne, which is insane.

We have a few really solid internationals, a few good but not great players, and a few squad guys. We should respect all of them for what they are, and not expect any of them to be the best in the world at the position when we do not pay them the wages to match. (OK, maybe not Siggy for squad on that fee. I'll give you that.)

If you want to slate non-contributors like Iwobi and Delph, knock yourself out as far as I'm concerned.

I’m not calling this player out solely for his ability - in fact, I’ve sat on my hands all season through in this regard AND the childishness - but my gripe is the attack on Holgate. He’s overstepped the mark for me. Pure and simple.

What attack on Holgate?

The one the Broadcaster was quick to shy away from - apart from a brief mention at the end - and for which Ancelotti had to take steps to quell.
All I've seen is a snippet saying they had to be pulled apart but no other context or anything, just wondering if anyone had anything more concrete before laying into him.

Richarlison is a very good player who had a poor season. Bear in mind though, he still got through a huge amount of work and does not shirk or hide. The danger is that he has his heart set on a move, this is a problem for us as his value would be a lot less now than it would have been this time last year.

The only way I can see around this is to sit the lad down and tell him that if we get an offer of 60 million plus, he can go, if not, he has to stay. I doubt anyone comes in for him at that price and that would suit me, I think he is a very valuable part of the team.
