to do what with? Buy another Rondon and Tosun? We cant afford to let our decent players go, we are a shambles of a club
The problem is I'm not sure Richarlison is really that decent. He's not really someone who fits into a position and is a lot of times a zero in the games he doesn't score. And he's not improving.

I think his head was turned in the summer (rumours of him replacing Mbappe at PSG?) and, perhaps even in January last year and he hasn’t looked interested since.

For me his best position is left wing or off the striker he isn't a target man/lone forward

Never in a million years a target man.
Someone on here the other week saying he plays up top for brazil.
Big difference doing that for Everton than brazil with gabriel jesus and neymar playing with you.

He definitely wants out. The PSG thing was probably make believe though and I doubt any club at the level he thinks he's at is interested because he's not really at that level.

He does have a high ceiling though. The Richarlison we are seeing is not as good as he can be or could be in the right team. On his day, he’s excellent. It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if this is a strategy to drive down his price so he can get his move.

With the length of time he has on his contract and the potential ability he has, we would rightly quote £80m+ to most clubs. Right now he’s performing at about half that figure. His stock is low, so in many ways it’s a perfect time for clubs to buy.

Again, wrong target.

He’s been given nothing since his return, and we need players around him to support him.

Farcical. I know why he’s frustrated, because what’s the point?

What do you think gives him a high ceiling?

When we signed him I could see that but I just don't anymore.

Still young at 24. Industrious. Rarely injured and consistently plays >40 games a season. Average 15 goals a season (mostly from wide) for three years in a very middle of the road team.

He could make the step up. When I say high ceiling, I don’t think he’s a ballon d’or winner but he can be a regular, reliable starter for teams like Juve, PSG, Dortmund, Barcelona, Madrid who frequent the Champions League knockout stages. I think he’d do great at Chelsea too.
