Still young at 24. Industrious. Rarely injured and consistently plays >40 games a season. Average 15 goals a season (mostly from wide) for three years in a very middle of the road team.

He could make the step up. When I say high ceiling, I don’t think he’s a ballon d’or winner but he can be a regular, reliable starter for teams like Juve, PSG, Dortmund, Barcelona, Madrid who frequent the Champions League knockout stages. I think he’d do great at Chelsea too.
So my counter is being young doesn't matter if you aren't getting better, which for me he isn't, the goal number is 13 at max, tossing in a few cup goals isn't important or meaningful and crucially he continues to be an utter liability in the middle of the park and lackluster creatively.

I just can't see him in any of those teams for long. Maybe someone like Inter or Roma at a push. Or a Sevilla type.

I think when he stomps his feet loud enough, which is coming, you may be surprised the size of the clubs who’d like to take him for the right price.

I think we’re rapidly reaching the stage where a club might chuck £50m at us for him and I suspect the club may look at his recent output and see it as not such a bad deal to reinvest back into a squad that badly needs it.

I'm not sure why anyone would pay 50m to be perfectly honest.

Yup. One of our more sellable assets and the most overrated one at that. That money could buy us a new right back and a decent replacement.
He's a cry arse who wont play for us now.

I dont even think he'll be missed that much next week.

I'd love to see Simms get on and score.

Hardly pulling up trees but he his getting zero service

I bet if he moves to an actually well run club he'd start getting numbers again
