The problem with Richarlison is that he is an established player, and a player who should lead by example, instead he spends most of his time whining, showing negative body language, and arguing with teammates (the free kick situation, where he quarreled to take free kick).

AG led today as a good example. He did not succeed in everything, but he never stopped trying, and was always the first to try to win back the ball again.

To me, he's a bit of a symbol of Everton at the moment. He's obviously a player who plays only for himself, and gives a damn about the team. If we win, and he does not score goals, then he whines. He argues with his teammates about taking penalties, free kicks, etc. Has mostly a negative body language.

As a player, he is ok and has his moments. However, he lacks the football intelligence, awareness, and technique to be able to utilize space. For example. in the first half, he had a great opportunity to center a pass through to AG, so that he had been alone with the goalkeeper, but had the wrong body position and looked down on the ball.

Of course he will score many goals when he plays with Neymar, etc., and in part he scores goals for Everton, but he does not have the ability to make his teammates better. He also does not have the ability to lift his teammates when the team is having a hard time, instead he only reinforces the negative.

Just wish he'd grab a game, any kin game!!, by the scruff of it's neck and show to us the ability he obviously has and right now would be a bloody good time to do it!!

He's a good, effective player but his ability to link up or play a decent pass is miserable. The amount of times he kills an attack with his inability to do the simplest of things in painful.

Having said that it wasn't his fault tonight. Completely isolated as expected.
