Nah, he was 1 of about 3 who bothered.

I'd be quite happy to never see any of them again.

He might be bothered mate but his job is to score the goals that win us points. That was a golden chance mate when you are down at rhe bottom, he just had to stay composed and he slots it.

He's a massive part of the problem because he can't finish, runs into people, overheats crosses, takes shots when it's impossible to score, doesn't release the ball when he should.

His 1st half effort was his best performance in about a year but when it absolutely mattered, our once chance to really kill the wind out of them, he missed it.

It's simply not good enough.

Its probably been his best game for us in ages, and fair play to him that he looks arsed, but, as has been said, if he slots that clear chance and shows composure we win that game. The lack of attacking intelligence all season from our front players, wrong options taken, selfish play etc, It all adds up to relegation fodder. And yes, a league 1 defence doesn't help either.

I do think he played well but it is amazing to me that two games in a row now he's been in on the keeper and we have not zero goals but zero shots to show for it.

I'm always surprised how high his stats are. Think he was like our most creative player by far but can't remember a single chance he's created this season.

The only player I'm going to miss when we get relegated. He can hold his head up high though, he went down fighting unlike the other 90%.
