I'm not really interested in an argument but I've just gone and checked about six different numbers you could possibly have seen and he's not close on any of them to first. Which backs up what I see watching him.
I'm sure it was posted on here recently. I remembered it because I couldn't believe it.

By far our best player. Head and shoulders above anyone else bar Tarworski on pitch. Seriously can't believe people slag him off, yeah maybe he not quiet real or psg but [Poor language removed] me he works his ass off and defo "moves" us up pitch more than anyone. So sorry he not perfect but other than Gordon(Allan maybe) he the only one getting a pass from my disdain if we go down.

Yeh, could have sworn I've seen him top of chances created this season for us. I know he's top of big chances so far (5).
It was big chances definitely that he was top of.
Townsend is our most creative player overall (lol), or was before tonight.

He's probably our best defender
Honestly no idea what I saw then but he was top, swear the number was in the 20's or 30's.
Probs last year knowing me.
However, it still baffles me he's up near the top when I can't remember any of them.
To me them stats say Ritchie is able to create a "big" chance at a far greater rate than anyone else in this team. Add to that I know he works harder / better for the team in general, bar Gordon in that list and Townsend on his good days. So ? Ritchie is better than lots of bad(for prem standard) players.
