I think some fans overrate our players if they think any of them are capable of playing for PSG. A couple of years ago there was interest and he was in better form then, a couple years younger and more potential, I don't think it's a shout people make in 2022. He's certainly a very good striker though as he shows for Brazil.

Worth mentioning about his chances, at least he's putting himself about? DCL stood there for 90 mins not fancying a single cross, pass or opportunity.

I agree. I like Richarlison - he seems a good sort, tries hard, shows guts, but lacks the little bit of quality that would make him a target of top clubs. Our fans - or a segment of them - are so used to mediocrity that any half decent player is heralded as a world beater. Richarlison also gets a pass from them because of his demeanour - he looks frustrated (he cares) and he puts himself about (he's passionate) but he's not a patch on Lukaku, for example, who was in a different league if diffident about it.

DCL, by comparison, isn't a patch on Richarlison.

When this lad leaves in the summer he can go with my blessing regardless of the division we're playing in. He's one of the few players that sincerely cares about Everton Football Club and shows it every week. I have nothing but good things to say about this guy. Sometimes he dives about and acts the fool? Yeah well maybe he wouldn't have to try play acting and doing to much if his worthless teammates carried their weight every once in a while!
