"We will look into the matter," said an Everton spokesperson.
"As far we we are concerned, Richarlison was attempting to throw it out of the ground."
I'd argue he was protecting the safety of the players throwing it away and misjudged the weight of the object....easy to do when throwing a burning object hahaamazed he wasn't carded for that, looked like he lashed it into the crowd too. NB not suggesting he should have been - but given some of the officiating we've been on the receiving end of this season I'm surprised it wasn't a red card...... Only concern is if the ref didn't punish him will our friends at the FA step in post match. ?
A three match retrospective ban for throwing a flare into the crowd?
Great.
I sit in the upper gwladys right where he threw it, it didn't go in to the crowd it hit the wall and fell beside the seating area.Didnt see it myself, few people on twitter said it went over the crowd, few people on here and twitter saying it went in the crowd, so no idea.
If it went into the crowd, sadly I dont think we can complain if he was banned, lets hope common sense wins this day.
Have you just made that up?
Richarlison obviously never seen that video of the Rangers fan blowing his own hand off simply by holding a flare. If he did, he'd never pick one up
