If they ban him then that puts the tin hat on the media driven bias of the FA and the media.

Didn’t actually see the Derby as I was driving home from Donegal. Stephen Warnock on commentary on BBC described Richarlison as ‘pathetic’.

You would never hear any RS player described as such.

No chance, and it has a knock on effect. To public opinion, officials opinion, even other club opinions when it comes to buying players. There really should be a quota to how many ex players from clubs can work the media each season. But that would probably step on freedom of employment laws. A possible way around it would be a clause in the rights agreement contract between the premier league and the media companies, but the likelihood of anything like that even getting off the ground is slim unless all the less represented clubs kicked up about it officially. In the interest of sporting fairness its simply wrong

Harvey Elliott did something similar in the League Cup final. Can't find anything about punishment though. He was asked about it by the FA but doesn't seem to have been punished

Richarlison gets under the skin of opposition fans like no other player and I love it, I think I've seen fans from just about every club trying to get him a ban tonight, quite strange considering how overrated and useless they think he is. I hope he never leaves.

Give him a warning and be done with it. Think he’d have been in trouble if it was opposition fans but sure the club will just say he was throwing it off the pitch.

This guy really gives a crap. Chasing down a lost-cause is what led to his goal and he plays like he was born on Merseyside and brought up a Blue.

Be so sad to see him move on if a CL level club comes in.

A few RS (and Burnley and Leeds) on Twitter kicking off saying he should have been banned today for his admittedly stupid kick out in the derby and want him missing a few for the flare incident today.
