A few rumours have been put out there that Atletico would accept 70mil for him...a loss of £45mil.
He's been a substitute almost as much as a starter in La Ligs (13 starts + 11 sub) and has scored only 1 goal + 1 assist in 8 champions league games (7 starts + 1 sub).
I actually like Joao Felix but im certain Simeone would gladly sell him and sign Richarlison.

Strangely given the general consensus in the media seems to be he's off, I think he'll stay here next season and play up front almost exclusively (think DCL will be gotten rid off)

Why mate, I honestly think in the right system with the right players around it's hugely different than him playing in a team set up to put t it deep or throw crosses into a 'traditional' cf.
Because he’s absolutely horrendous up front. Always has been, always will be.

I also think as with most players, commiting to one position overall is better than the constant switching of roles, allows them and as important the rest of the team to adjust and get used to it.

Depends are you judging him based on using him effectively as a target man with a team not set out or indeed with players at all suited to play with him in that role.
Yeah long punts from Pickford and Townsend lobbing balls into the box, all the whilst when he has both centre backs glued to him isn't exactly suited to get him looking his best is it?

I'll be sad to see him go if he does leave but hope he can stamp his class on these games and sign-off with something big for us. This run of games is ideal for him to go on a scoring run and show what he can do.
I never saw him in world-class terms but he doesn't have to be for what we need now. He is a class apart from anything Burnley or Leeds have, or really any side in the bottom half or Top 6. In wider terms it just hasn't been converted for us though.
