If we get 85mill for Richarlison then I'll feel like Dick Turpin. For all his flashes of brilliance, he spends more time falling over the ball

The timing is absolutely horrid.

But make no mistakes, making profits on players and being sustainable is something we need to do.

You have to hope that we have a full plan if/when he leaves. Invest in quality youth, with resale value, who will make us collectively better.

He's been brilliant for us, and you can't say he hasn't given us 110% throughout, and can you really stop a player wanting to play with Neymar? Messi? Actually realistically win trophies?

PSG have to accept one of these bids eventually, Mbappe is guaranteed to leave on a free to Madrid anyway next season. You’d have to imagine the huge influx of money would soothe any potential FFP issues PSG are being accused of. The annoying thing is the arrogance of them thinking they can click their fingers for us to sell our best player on the deadline. Especially after offering us a pitiful loan deal with no obligation for Kean. Horrible clubs, PSG, Real the lot of them.

I’ll miss Richarlison more than i missed Lukaku.

Lukaku was the better slotter but Richarlison had a bit of snide and got us a bit more.

At times he infuriates, but he is a real pain for opposing defenders.

Is he a 100m player? Absolutely not, so sadly we have to snatch their hands off if they are willing to pay that. Anything less than that though and it will be incredibly bad business by Everton again.

Id love it if we was like them
Horrible or not
Messi>>iwobi

All the fawning about how it’s any sportsman’s dream to win a gold medal.. the Olympics was a shop window for him, that’s all.

Pros and Cons to this situation – because a balance view is important.

Pros

Richie leaving one day is inevitable and given his poor form last season and the obvious lack of money being spent anywhere other than those few big teams this may be the best chance to sell and make serious money on him. I think at best He’ll give us one more season and then push to leave and next season we may not get the sort of money we could potentially prize from PSG now.

A big sale would solve our FFP issues and give us the freedom to rebuild the entire squad which it desperately needs. This is still the same team that has finished 12 & 10 the last two years and it’s not going to get much better until the squad has a pretty substantial overhaul.

Richie would be sold to a different league and we wouldn’t be subjected to him tearing it up in the premierleague and scoring past us every season.

Cons

THERE ARE 4 DAYS LEFT

THIS SEEMS TO HINGE ON MBAPPE LEAVING AND THAT’S NOT CERTAIN YET EITHER SO WE MAY HAVE 3 DAYS, OR TWO, OR ONE!!

WE ARE SHOCKINGLY SLOW ARE COMPETING TRANSFERS

OUR BOARD/BRANDS/MOSHIRI CAN’T SPEND MONEY WISELY – IT’S LIKE EVERY DECISION WE MAKE IS THE WRONG ONE

RICHIE IS ONE OF – IF NOT OUR BEST PLAYER

IF WE SELL HIM, EVERYONE WILL KNOW WE SUDDENLY HAVE CASH SO PRICES ARE GOING TO GO UP AND WHY WOULD TEAMS SELL THEIR BEST PLAYERS TO US 4 DAYS BEFORE THE WINDOW CLOSES?

DID I MENTION OUR BOARD AND ALL INVOLVED ARE USELESS WHEN IT COMES TO SIGNING PLAYERS?

For what it’s worth I can completely understand why Richie may want to go. I mean, PSG, Champions League and playing along side Messi and his best mate. Whatever happens the club need to, for once get it right and by that I mean if we sell (and if PSG are serious I think we will) then be prepared, be proactive and come out of this better than we were. Brands and Co need to actually earn their money for a change.

He's halfway out the door.

Wake up and smell the coffee.
He might leave, not saying he won’t, not saying he will, but this conspiracy that he’s known he’s off all summer is nonsense especially when he put in a MOTM performance immediately after arriving back in the country for us. If he was off, he could’ve easily got out of at least the first game. Speculation at the time was that we wouldn’t see him until Burnley anyway!

Nonsense. What elite club scouts players at the olympics of all places? The standard at the olympics is total crap! If he moves to PSG it’s because of performances in the last two Copa and premier leagues

I'll be disappointed given circumstances of its less than £100m.

I think it'll be £90m approx though with addons like a sell on fee.
