With an objective head, I think we all expected him to leave at some point in the near future unless we were able to contest for European football, regularly.

I think £85m would be a fairly reasonable fee too. However, while it's most probably paper talk, selling him this late in the window would likely to be disastrous.

If we bank the money, we're one key player down until at least January, which isn't a great time to buy for multiple reasons. If we buy, we're likely to get rinsed.

For me, it's a keep him but agree he can leave next summer.
Nah, we need FFP jam today...If somebody, puts half decent cash down - he's gone...him and as many as Brands can get out the door.

Cash In
High Wage Earners Out.
Cheap(er?) Low Wage Earners - using the the Gray template - In

His agents are reportedly talking to PSG behind our backs, no doubt this is actually being pushed by PSG. This could develop into a hary kane situation. We cannot sell him no matter how much is offered there is no time to get the replacements we want. Add to that we would want cash up front no HP deals.

Just tell PSG to done one.

Well that's about as clear a statement as you'll ever get from Everton. Benitez has a target on his back anyway so i can't imagine he'd lie and if the club went behind his back now it'll cause uproar.
It really isn't.
He could have said " we are not selling Richarlison".
"We are not considering " means we don't really want to sell and we don't have a offer yet.

Not considering...of course not, but they're Hoping

Edit; Everybodies Not for sale - until they are, Messi, Ronaldo, Rondon, Richarlson everybody
Exactly. Can’t consider until an offer comes in.
Nobody is irreplaceable. He is not a player I would relish selling, but if he can be replaced with say another forward a right back and attacking midfielder, we may end up stronger
It is a risk no doubt, but Richarlison was always going to leave. We knew last summer.

proven premiership midfielder a bloody good one to not cheap but the point NicHolls had gathered and attained them BEFORE sale, !one they had a plan and Everton.... Not good enough mate by far. Card too late to replace Richarlison at this stage, we should be saying no.
I don't think they will accept an offer for Richy unless it was silly money
