Unpopular opinion but could be good for him + us if he goes this summer. Obviously for right price.

Think Gordon can make that position his own + we're desperate for new midfield + second striker.

And his card's marked with lot of refs, gets zilch off any of them.

Gordon's shown promise but that would be massive shoes to fill. And Gray isn't the answer as a starter, his post December form showed as much.

Still unclear currently given he's playing for Brazil, get the feeling he'll push for a move once pre season starts.
 
one of the players who has most 'turned blue' i can remember! I think he's been great for us, and what a shame he wasnt here when we had better squads and seasons. I still think he needs one standout season with his stats before one of the big CL clubs wants to buy him, and this is good for us too. He needs to get 20 goals, or something like 30 goal contributions, before he can get the kind of upgrade to Madrid, Barcelona, PSG or Bayern that hemight be looking for, and obviously a season like that is great for us. In the PL outside Everton they don't rate him as much as we do because they don't see the kind of work he's had to put in to stand out in rubbish seasons, but he's always in the Brazil squad and seems to be an integral member of the squad.. If he can match it with more goals & assists it'll be good for his career and the transfer fee.

See my argument below, but also, It's nice to see Lampard speaking out against refereeing decisions. As he gets to know Richy more I think he'll help protect him and counteract the referees. All you need to do nowadays is just put it out there in the media and then the refs start thinking about it. ridiculous really. Lampard might be (like Rooney) someone to give us some weight
 
He might stop diving so much too. That would help. In the area? No problem. Elsewhere? He’s looked a bit silly at times and it’s come back to haunt him.

(look, all footballers are cheats and hypocrites. Just be a bit more subtle about it)
 
I would hate to see him at another PL club but regardless of his great attitude and aptitude he is the one we would need to sell if we cannot grab enough funds from the dead wood candidates
