It absolutely is, in fact I would say Richarlison has considerably more technical ability than 3 of them, and about the same as Jesus.
This thread reminds me of the Barkley one when he was here. People suggesting he was as good as Lampard and Gerrard at 23 because his stats were similar and anyone that correctly said he was nowhere near that level got rounded on by the mob. Apparently suggesting Richarlison isn’t at the level of Man City or Real Madrid is some sort of sacrilege, as if you’ve just called him a League 2 dosser or something.
It’s fine to say he’s one of our best players, but he isn’t this world beater that would walk into all the best teams in the world. He is a very flawed player. The unfortunate reality is that everyone outside of our fanbase can see that as well. We often want our players to be much better than they are, and invariably end up pretending they are.
I dont think many or indeed anyone(might have missed it) is even claiming that.
I think a few posts ive read have been spot on. Dont be surprised if a few managers see in him the potential to slot into a good side. I have seen quite a few times richarlison set the tone for Everton. In a side that hasnt got many or if any natural winners or even hunger. That doesnt go unnoticed by managers who assemble teams like that.
Richarlison does not keep possession enough for city. City rely on patient build ups and players looking after the ball.….ha, ha, but he has enough technical ability to play regularly as a striker for Brazil. 14 goals in 36 games for Brazil, Jesus has 19 in 56.
Richarlison might not do step-overs, he might not look fancy but he’s uncomplicated and very effective. He’d be terrific for City & I stand by what I said, he‘d be better for them than Grealish.
People are saying he’d walk into City’s team and improve it.
I take it that suggests you think he does have the technical ability to play for Manchester City?
I dont think he would walk into the city team. But i wouldnt say he would look out of place. Thats not so much about richarlison though. A good player could drop into the city team and look ok.
Again, i think its mentality with richarlison. I dont think he thinks he would be out of place playing for man city.

I said hed walk into Madrid and PSGs teams and improve them.
You can’t fault his mentality. But you have to be basically a robot to play in that City team. First touch has to be perfect all the time, all your passes have to be perfectly weighted, can anyone on here honestly tell me Richarlison ticks any of those boxes? He’s far too unpredictable for that team. He’d suit a team that plays the style of Liverpool more where the forwards basically just have to run around maniacally and hit the target when the ball falls to them near the box.
