Obviously they are better than us in terms of financial position squad depth and quality new stadium and already settled in it. Which is miles ahead of where we are anytime soon, we can only dream of Europa league qualification after that awful season. spurs have consistently finished inside the top 7 since 09, since 2014 we've been awful and are continuing that trend but looking even worse lately spurs are miles ahead of us as a club an a much more attractive team to join than ours what player in our squad would get ahead of any spurs player?

Yeah, your other points are correct, plus it's London, Harry Kane, Son, a few other Internationals, etc, but it's not a big step up that he's looking for. Otherwise he's at Spurs and then , what at 26/27 another club? He seems like the type who would settle at a club for 5-6 years

Thing is though if he had played last season for Arsenal or West Ham for example and had performed to the same level, how much would we think he is worth then? A lot of our value is his love of the club, but we cant expect that to make the fee higher

Mate we aint getting anywhere near that as it stands. Things need to change between now and the first ball kicked or we are back down where we were last season. I still think its a miracle we stayed up because i struggled to see worse teams. Norwich & watford. After that....

Nothing he says there is that outrageous tbh bar the idea that selling him for £50m means we will suddenly start pushing for Europe. Main problem with that tweet is that he seems to forget we don’t do good recruitmemt and thus he’s not easily replaced.

Definitely agree he is such vital component when we're successful in games also the easily replaced with good recruiting is absurd it's like he just became an Everton fan and isnt aware of the years of abysmal recruitment.
