Faster than sigurdsson smashed that.... Never mind.Bet you smashed that report button didn't you.
I have a feeling we'll see PSG come in once their new manager is confirmed.
He just wants to keep his song wherever he goes.Seems like all the media reports are centred on a fee on setting a fee of 50 mill, i sense agents at play here.
GTF.
He's under contract. He has a few years left on his current deal. We sell at a price that works for us - not Richarlison or Spurs.Spurs are probably interested because they believe we need to sell to raise money.... they are correct. They are hoping to sign a good player for less than market value , they are an attractive club at the moment with a good manager and CL on offer.
If none of the other big clubs show an interest we will probably be able to drag Spurs up somewhat but ultimately sell for less than we hoped.
He has two years left. This is the optimum time to sell. He's under contract. He has a few years left on his current deal. We sell at a price that works for us - not Richarlison or Spurs.
Absolutely right. But it really does appear that our financial situation as such that we cannot afford to lose him for even less in a year's time or, even worse, for free in two seasons. I'm not sure how many suitors he'll have for £50m this summer, and Spurs will probably feel they have some ammunition in the form of Dele Alli (sigh) to use in any deal, but I genuinely think he is the sacrificial lamb to the slaughter to give Lampard a little money to try to improve the squad as a whole. It'll fail, of course, and we'll likely enter the season weaker than we ended the previous one. He's under contract. He has a few years left on his current deal. We sell at a price that works for us - not Richarlison or Spurs.
