You can't begrudge Richarlison leaving us. As long as we get £35m for him. We can buy someone to replace him.
I can see @matty1878 writing a song like Eminems Stan.
No, not biting.

Dennis is being quoted at 20m and that's like 90% of the way there. I'm sure 15m could do it if you got lucky.Almost as bad as @MKEvertonian saying he can easily be replaced for £15mil.
You must be a Spurs fan. £65m plus add ons.You can't begrudge Richarlison leaving us. As long as we get £35m for him. We can buy someone to replace him.
Come now, if GOT gave out an award for posters who presented opinion as fact, you'd have been allowed to keep the trophy years ago.Ha Ha.
Well that's a hell of a lot different then.
It's crazy how one journalist mentions something and they all repeat it until it becomes gospel.Thats all based on an Athletic article....which doesn't conclude that not selling a player before end of June would be met with sanctions.
That conclusion has been formed by hacks.
If we sell Gordon for that 5m, then we can get Dennis in easyDennis is being quoted at 20m and that's like 90% of the way there. I'm sure 15m could do it if you got lucky.

Selling a player before the end of June doesn't do anything that immediately improves our position in the eyes of regulations.
The fact we didn't have money to spend last summer shouldn't have been a surprise. First of all you had Ancelotti and his "I'm not a magician" line. Rewind a few months earlier DBB said during the AGM over zoom something like "we're in constant contact with the Premier League over Profit and Sustainability regulations." That suggests we have been toeing a fine line the past 2 seasons (at least), but so long as we don't go nuts, no sanctions will head our way.
We are already 'in profit' player trading wise for last season so there's no chance of sanctions for the upcoming season. We may well end up selling a prized asset, but there's no need to fret over some mythical sanction just because some spotty skidmark prints it.
That's about where I've landed on it in my head. If we want to spend more than about 20 million, including wages, then we need to ship somebody out (that's my back of an envelope workings out of Kenny, Sigurdsson, Tosun and Delph's wages). If that's Andre Gomes, groovy. It's just that we have 3 saleable assets, basically and one wants to play CL.
We're not in a position where we have to accept rubbish bids for anybody. I'm sure Richarlison's agents have agreed a valuation with the club and if that's met, he'll be given permission to discuss terms.
We're a month into a 3 month window and he's still here, I'll take that as a positive.
a positive mate he’s still here or levy is trying to offer us a £1 a week?
i’m gutted he’s going and more so to another team in this league
It won't soar with 18mths left on his contractI said this to somebody on here a few days ago, if we keep him this summer and he has a good world cup, we will still be able to sell him for the price we want in January or next summer. However, if he is golden boot winner, something which is not beyond the realms of possibility, then his value will soar. Either way, if we do not get what we value him at this summer, I think we should refuse to sell him.
I said if he got the golden boot it would soar. It would. It won't soar with 18mths left on his contract
