Player Valuation: £100m
Dennis is being quoted at 20m and that's like 90% of the way there. I'm sure 15m could do it if you got lucky.
Unlucky.

Its not worrying at all, whats worrying is because of the mess Moshiri has made we are almost back to the days of having to sell RooneyThis is worrying.
I really can’t stand Bill. If you look through my posts you will see that.Bills pulling the strings again eugh. Get him out.
Perhaps. Its not as though I can summon him though, is it?Uncalled for
We. Aren’t. Signing. Winks. Permanently!!!Given we're selling Richy to spurs then and bringing in winks who reckons the announcement of spurs signing Richy for £85m with our purchase of £45m rated winks is announced on the 1st July?
And that's a huge part of the problem. As much as I can’t stand Bill, of those currently at the club, I trust him to get the best fee for Richarlison. Think Rooney, Lescott, Lukaku, Stones. In general, we didn’t exactly get our pants pulled down.
I hope you're right. FFP calculations and the involvement of Levy and kenwright appear imho to say differently.We. Aren’t. Signing. Winks. Permanently!!!
Exactly mate. There's a commitment from the club to get on top of the overspend and the PL are happy with it.It's crazy how one journalist mentions something and they all repeat it until it becomes gospel.
Selling a player before the end of June doesn't do anything that immediately improves our position in the eyes of regulations.
The fact we didn't have money to spend last summer shouldn't have been a surprise. First of all you had Ancelotti and his "I'm not a magician" line. Rewind a few months earlier DBB said during the AGM over zoom something like "we're in constant contact with the Premier League over Profit and Sustainability regulations." That suggests we have been toeing a fine line the past 2 seasons (at least), but so long as we don't go nuts, no sanctions will head our way.
We are already 'in profit' player trading wise for last season so there's no chance of sanctions for the upcoming season. We may well end up selling a prized asset, but there's no need to fret over some mythical sanction just because some spotty skidmark prints it.
It's Jon Sopel, it's not a 12 year old from West Derby. Its on Twitter so it has to be true
Most accurate statement. Spot on thisAnd that's a huge part of the problem.
A generous but absent owner who has unbelievably kept an utterly inept board in place.
You're right, Kenwright IS the best person to negotiate. I can imagine DBB showing up to meetings with a photo of her business awards and asking for a LinkedIn recommendation afterwards.
We're simply not equipped to be a modern football club.
Even so, who cares if they are having a meal, they both live in London, they obviously know each other, its actually a good thing this as it means we have a better chance of getting a decent fee from them and I highly doubt if they were going to meet up to thrash out a deal they would do that in a restaurant. It's Jon Sopel, it's not a 12 year old from West Derby.
As you say Bill was good at selling high, but he was also good at buying cheap, its that model we have to go back to nowI really can’t stand Bill. If you look through my posts you will see that.
But in reality, if Moshiri is focused on a sale, he won’t be involved in the transfer side of things (thank god for that). Moshiri also no longer has any proxies at the club.
Also, I wouldn’t expect Thelwell to engage in fee negotiation. Is that something other directors of football would necessarily get directly involved in?
