I wonder if, a bid for kean from juve, comes before a richy bid, will that change the mind set of our valuation/negotiation on richy?

It's not a side ways step at all. It's just not as much of an upward step as I'd expect. They are a club who historically, and recently, have won very little. They don't know how to win the big game. I think it's the wrong move for him and he risks not even playing regularly.
Conte likes players who run and work hard. He will start most games.

Spurs are a "potential club" and they've been that for as long as I can remember. They can sell a "package" to a player that we can't match, unfortunately. If I was Richarlison I wouldn't fall for it but I can fully understand why he would, too. They are definitely more than a sideways step, though, that's for sure.

If that's the case, we might be open to a slightly smaller fee paid upfront now. Ideally that's not something you want to have to do though
The advantage they have in buying him this year is to try and get out of the 2nd season loan fee. (2nd season is reported as 7m euro, last season was around 4m)

The problem they have is they don't actually want him and they have no obvious buyer. Do they negotiate and throw down the money now and try and flog him for whatever they can, or pay the loan fee and hope he comes good.

Even so, who cares if they are having a meal, they both live in London, they obviously know each other, its actually a good thing this as it means we have a better chance of getting a decent fee from them and I highly doubt if they were going to meet up to thrash out a deal they would do that in a restaurant.
Dont forget if Moshiri hadnt of landed us with FFP restrictions we wouldn't even have to be selling Richarlison
That's fine. I'm just saying that Jon Sopel doesn't deserve to be dismissed just because it's a post on Twitter. Not all Twitter users are created equal.

A move to Spurs lacks ambition from Richy in fairness. He has only a slightly better chance of silverware there than here, because they don't know how to win the big game. Yeah he'll get champions league for a year, and play with far better players, but I would have thought a player of his calibre would want medals.
A bigger issue at Spurs is how long Conte will stay and will Levy continue to bankroll the investment that is need to chase Liverpool and City.
If reports are true then Levy is already trying to squeeze a cheap deal for Richarlison by off loading Winks and Moura.... which I think will fail btw.
Harry Kane tied himself into a long contract at Spurs and certainly regretted that last season, Richarlison would want to bear that in mind if that transfer should happen.

BTW if Richarlison is leaving Everton but staying in England I would be as happy for Spurs to sign him as anybody else as long as the fee is fair.

Yeah but people are trying to.spin it into a negative against Kenwright, which is pathetic
There might be thing you can hold against him but having a meal with Levy isn't one.
