Dont get the gushing over Spurs myself - easy to forget 12-18 months ago they only finished a few points above us and we beat them 5-4 in the cup.

Conte isn't someone who stops around like Pep or Klopp - once he leaves they may very well slide back down the table particularly with Kane entering the latter stages of his career and Son another top season away from getting a big money move to an elite club.

Wrong move for Richy imo.
I hope Spurs fail miserably I can’t stand them, these are strong words from an Everton fan I even prefer them lot than Spurs.

Son is a year older than Kane.

His choice is between Spurs and us. It’s an easy one given how we’ve been run when he’s been here.

Yeah, his time with us has been horrible really - he's the one bright spark of this whole mess! Imagine if he'd been around with Moyes and Martinez - say the last 2 years of Moyes and first of Martinez...that would have been fun!

That might make them ever so slightly favourite this coming season for 4th place just in front of arsenal and united...miles though still from Chelsea, Liverpool and City...eventually united will get their act together and spurs will be back fighting for 5th place in the league. Not sure richy will enjoy possibly be used more from the bench instead of the first name on the team sheet...Time will tell if its a good move.
Spurs under Conte would have finished 3rd last season.

I think they're a far better team then a Chelsea heading downhill.

Still Conte won't be there long and is rubbish at the Champions League so I doubt they'll win a lot.

This is nice in theory, but if he has a good season with us he still ends up with one year left on his deal so that would balance out the fee. We may even get less for him. And if he doesn’t have a good season? Well we definitely get less than what we could get now.

At the very least with spurs he’ll be in the Europa league each year, which people scoff at but players do care about this. Also given he’s only just 25, three years at Spurs is a fine career move for him at this point.

Yes - I don't know where a 20 goal season is coming from - he'd get it in a well-oiled machine - a much better team. I think mainly I feel like I want him to do well in the future, and hopefully he becomes a great player. Wish he had shined more for us (in terms of goal / assist stats) before leaving
