Needs a thunderous reception upon his return to be honest. Never publicly came out and asked to leave, always gave his all, great commitment to the cause. £50m, or let's say £55m is OK, but only if it's spent wisely, if indeed Lampard is allowed to spend it.

Spurs probably having the best transfer window in recent history: Perisic, Richarlison, Bissouma and Lenglet from Barca and they haven't even had to sell anybody. What a difference that 4th place finish has made to them. So envious of their club. Forward options of Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Moura and Richarlison, whereas we have DCL and Rondon.

New stadium and world class manager, I think they might bridge the gap to the top 2.

Not the end of the world if most of the fee can be spent wisely.

Said the same about Lukaku, Stones etc though, and we've been in decline ever since.

They have a chance of winning trophy's. They have opportunities to win multiple trophies.
And champions League football is a massive draw for players.

I don't understand the point about Conte either - Spurs have, Nuno aside, consistently appointed ambitious, high profile managers. If Conte goes, they will again.

Richarlison, Kane, Son is as very strong front 3.
