Either the fee is about right or Richarlison just isn't as good as most of our fanbase thinks he is

The fee is always about value to the club + thinking about other factors such as sell on fee + the amount of money in the market currently. When you consider all of those things it's a low fee for Everton but we have put ourselves in this position due to FFP and our league position. We only have ourselves to blame here.

They play three forwards in Conte's 343. Richarlison will be a rotation option for all three positions. He'll play, a lot.

Fabrizio Romano saying it’s £50m with add ons, hope it’s not for spurs winning stuff because then it’s just a flat £50m.
It seems low to me, I thought a minimum of £60m with add ons, you can’t tell me Raphinha is £10m better as a player.
My only thought is there was a story that Watford get a % of anything we earn over £50m so maybe that’s why?

£50m isn't enough for Richarlison in the current market.

Anyway, I'll be gutted to see him go but wish him all the best. If our recruitment team don't find an exciting replacement then we're doomed next season. With DCL as our only striker, we need better than we've brought in recently - a Rondon or Josh King will simply not cut it.

I'm not feeling hugely optimistic.
