The stupid bitch tried to sound magnanimous about how it was different from the 80's riots because it was 'sadly' more racist at the time, especially in birmingham where she was a city counsellor.

This was when the tories bombarded midland communities with a pamphlet that said, If you want a [Poor language removed] for a neighbour vote labour.

Obviously Edwina can take the moral high ground when it comes to talking about racism.

I watch Stewart Lee as well. And it was 70's, and the leaflet went "If you want a [Poor language removed] for a neighbour vote Liberal or Labour".
The Tory machine is very clever, their front is racist but really they only perpetuate a different divide, those that have, and those that havn't.

So its true then , i wonder what the torys on here think about that. Im stunned here

It was Peter Griffiths who came up with that, and it was in 1964
